(San Francisco, CA): Straight Arrow Books, 1972.  First edition.  Slim octavo.  265 pages.  Witty dictionary, one of the most interesting features being the inclusion of lists of synonyms under a great many of the words treated (e.g., ass, auntie, basket, etc.). Also included are brief sociological essays in such entries as those for armed forces (for whom the homosexual community has its own special vocabulary) and prison terminology (a colourful account of the terminology of imprisoned homosexuals).  A very good copy, previous owner’s name / address / date on front endpaper, in pink printed wrappers.
